Keaton Armentrout
Hey there! Thanks for visiting my site, I'm glad you're here.
I'm a data scientist, software developer, musician, and artist based in Seattle, WA, currently focused on microbial ecology at Concerto Bio.
My background is in neuroscience; I started out studying neural engineering and researching brain-computer interfaces in the Nicolelis Lab at Duke University, then kept up with neurotech as an organizer of the NeuroTechX Boston chapter. Over the past few years I've been working as a developer at biotech startups spanning neurotech and genomics.
I make music as Moss Ives and released my debut EP, "Forms" in April 2021. Check it out on Bandcamp, Spotify, or Audius.
I'm also interested in digital art and online spaces. My work "Place Memory" was featured as the cover of the 2021 Spring issue of SciArt Magazine. The full list of my projects is on the works page, and I occasionally post writing over at my blog.
Always open to collaboration, say hi at [email protected] or DM me on Twitter.
